Which side of the Bed?

Ok, I am floating at the end of your bed… no forget that… you child walks into your room in the morning to ask a question… which side of the bed do you sleep on assuming the child is at the foot of the bed in the middle looking towards the headboard…

the cat takes the right side, i take the left side… my wife tries to find space somewhere.

That is so hard for me to imagine because I sleep facing the door to the bedroom… So she runs and pretty much tackles me! That’s ok though. I love every minute of it.😃

PS the cat sleeps on my head!
 
Regardless of where we are I sleep on whatever side is closest to the door. I feel more able to protect my wife that way.
 
I am unmarried, so I have the whole bed for myself. 😃

I won’t marry anyone I’m not great friends and extremely close with, so the girl is probably going to sleep in my arms somewhere in the middle. 😉

What a sweet thought. Not very practical when it’s hot in the room, though. 😉

I sleep on the side closer to the bathroom because I get up to go way more often than my husband does. In our house, that happens to be on the left. 🙂

This is what my husband normally does, too.
 
Well, as it is my bed, and I’m single, all others found under the covers will be forcibly removed if necessary 😛

haha… what about the cat and the hamster??
 
“my side” is the left side, facing the door, so I can hear any child that might wake up and need me. But, in reality it is what ever small sliver of the bed that is left after my husband and 5 kids fall asleep in it. The family bed can have its drawbacks.
 
Left side, facing the door, 'cause I get up at night way more than my husband does, and also the nightstand is on that side and I’ve gotta be able to reach my water or my glasses. (glasses especially if i’m up going to the bathroom…otherwise who knows where i’ll end up 😃 ).
 
Side… 🙂 it’s all mine. At least that is what he say’s. I used to sleep on the right- then got married and since he likes the right, I usually sleep on the Left. Of course, once asleep- who knows.
 
The right side next to the table that has my Divine Office and other religious books. 😃
