I won’t marry anyone I’m not great friends and extremely close with
That’s the way it should be. 🙂

the girl is probably going to sleep in my arms somewhere in the middle
Ah, young love … then reality sets in

I got older, started to snore and sleeping in each other’s arms quickly became a thing of the past. 😦

Yep! Even if for whatever reason it’s not comfy to hold/be held by my husband (especially in the last months of pregnancy 😉 ) I have to be at least touching him or holding his hand. We’re still relative newlyweds, though (4 1/2 years). Maybe things will change in a few years. I hope not, though! 😃

Ok, I am floating at the end of your bed… no forget that… you child walks into your room in the morning to ask a question… which side of the bed do you sleep on assuming the child is at the foot of the bed in the middle looking towards the headboard…

you are on the …
I sleep on the left, but from my kid’s perspective I sleep on the right. She normally enters a room walking backwards on the ceiling.

my teddy has one side, and I don’t like being too close to the other, and since I am single… I get the middle!

My wife use to say the same thing. Then I started snoring in her ear … … and the rest, as they say, is history.

Well, I’m the guy who said “I would sooner marry an old friend than a new crush”. I was exaggerating, but there is some truth in it. Just give me an old friend and a new crush in one person… Not like you always need several years to become something like old friends… Anyway, friendship is so key to my ever marrying a woman that I lack words to express it. 😉

Left, all the way. I tried the other side but could not sleep.

I need to be facing the door and see whom ever is comming at me. I am always nervous falling asleep, and get scared if i turn my back to the door.

So in the room i am in now, it is the left side for me!

Well, I’m a natural right side of the bed sleeper, but the nightstand with alarm is on the right and hubby gets up first. So, I’m on the left, but as soon as he’s up and about, I scooch over in his spot and get some sleep.

Left side. When my hubby has bad dreams and gets too active, I sleep on the couch.

The North side. Will I lose my salvation if I don’t face East ?
Is it better to sleep in line with the earth’s magnetic flux?

Now that I’ve got a kid inside me, I sleep on my left side on the side of the bed closest to the bedroom door (and thus the bathroom). After Baby is born…who knows?

haha… what about the cat and the hamster??
I now have an excuse to keep my door closed all the time…wait, that’s not what I want to do. I’d rather have it open, but I just can’t have that cat up in here destroying my blankets and my favorite pillow, not to mention that it likes to walk around on the keyboard of my laptop GRRR  It’s cute and all but I don’t like dealing with it.

Dang! You should train that kitty. You could start by throwing (I mean, picking it up and dropping it) it onto the floor when it gets anywhere near the laptop/starts damaging your bed.

😛 Whichever part of the bed that the     cat is not using is mine. (Until, of course, she decides to re-arrange herself…sigh…).

Me too!! Left side and hubby walks/talks in his sleep. Big guy. Long arms.

Cats freak out when hubby yells in his sleep but they eventually come back!

in our home i sleep on the right side of the bed and hubby on the left, however after going to visit relatives and staying in hotels and what not, i have noticed something rather interesting, my husband always chooses the side of the bed which is nearest to the door of wherever we are at at the time, and i always climb into the side furthest from the door. its a completely subconcious thing, but it ALWAYS happens. never fails. are we alone in this? any ideas?
