You and Mulligan2 may be correct that contraception will become more accepted, more prevalent, more affordable, more efficient, perhaps even required by the government—as the HHS even now wishes to impose it as a required coverage.:thumbsupitto to the tenth power.
With a depopulation spiral imminent in Western countries and becoming a problem in the rest of the world, more efficiency in preventing the next generation of human beings does not bode well for the global economy or for civilization. And the fact that the contraceptive mentality tends toward the destruction of marriage and family means that the continuing collapse of family structure, which is the bedrock of civilization, will have its effect on the whole of society, for the worse.
I don’t expect to convince you. The results of the current social experiment will have to play out in history. And if necessary, we will have to rebuild from scratch.
