Which Study Bible which you recommend?

Hi there,

I am looking to buy a Catholic Study Bible so I can read the deuterocanonical books, but I am specifically looking for reliable study notes which will give me a proper understanding of the Catholic perspective. Since I am not a Catholic, I don’t know which translation/publisher is most suitable, but I would like something similar to NIV style writing if possible

PS. I live in New Zealand, so if you could recommend something that I can order from a local site such as paperplusbooks.co.nz/, that would be even better!

I’ll offer a second for the Navarre bible series. The big drawback is the whole set can be a little $$$. Maybe try one and see how it works for you.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I originally meant a complete normal Bible with study notes - ie. I have a NIV Study Bible. However, the links/information you shared have been quite interesting and I’ll probably look into those. In the end, I’ve just ordered a Ignatius RSV 2nd Edition Bible 🙂
