Which women in Gospels you admire the most?

Without Mary Virgin .
Is that Mary Magdalena?
Or Elisabeth, mother of John?
 
Almost all of them. Favorites however: Ruth & Naomi, Rahab and Judith, and the various Marys.
 
New Testament - Mary, Elizabeth and Lydia
Old Testament - Eve, Ruth, and Naomi
 
For me is Mary Magdalena because I think she in childhood has so bad condition to develop herself in right person, but Jesus helped her to convert her in right person.
 
Women in Samaria,which Jesus asked for water,and He gave her water after that water she will not need water anymore.She was also sinful.
 
Anna the widow who worshipped God in the Temple day and night. When I was a kid I was fascinated by her; I wanted to do that. I thought about becoming a nun but was thwarted when I found that there were no United Methodist sisters.🙂

Yes Anna is also beautiful women.
I think that she has been around church and she prayed all day.

Martha of Bethany is also intersted women.Was she sister of Mary Magdalene?
 
I admire all the women who were present on Christ’s death and resurrection. They were brave to go to Calvary and accompany Jesus Christ, and also, they were the first ones to know Christ’s resurrection.
 
Hands down, I love Martha. She’s so practical as in, “But Lord, by this time he stinks!” I know Jesus had to scold her for fussing about food, housecleaning, fresh clothes, and beds for everyone. I’d do the same and need the same reminder, “Come. Sit at my feet.”

For me its this Mary the siser of Lazarus because she sat and listened to Jesus, the important thing, while Martha was so busy complaining about having to do all the work in the process of trying to serve. A deep story in that 🙂

Although no one is higher on my list than Mary, our Blessed Mother, I do have a real admiration for Veronica, who wipes the face of Jesus at the 6th Station. How quickly we forget that every one of us has the opportunity to do what Veronica did. We just need to see Christ in our suffering brothers and sisters.

Yes I admire Veronika, she had empathy for Jesus, she have given us example who small thing can be so important for person who is suffering.

I like the woman with the flow of blood - too humble and shy to ask Jesus to cure her, she instead thinks ‘if I can only touch the hem of his robe!’ and has faith that He will cure her even if she doesn’t ask him in words.

I agree. I know that women is also beautiful. She was ill but she had faith,and faith is helped her.
 
Oh, how these brave women suffered with the Virgin Mary and her (adopted) son, John, as Jesus’ flailed Body oozed blood, and His breath came in gasps. Lord, make all women as brave, loving and loyal as the women at the Cross.
