I purchased a game on my iPhone called the walking dead the game, it’s about zombies and it has quite a bit of violence and bad language in it. I finished the game a few months ago but decided a few days ago to play it again. I was praying earlier before an image of Our Lady and I felt something say to me “Don’t play that game” i had a feeling I shouldn’t finish playing it. Was this Our Lady telling me not to? I feel I should never play it again now.

If you think it might be sinful then just don’t play it. There are plenty of other games out there! It is great that you are so attuned to your conscience. It won’t fail you if you don’t fail to listen!

I’ve played the Walking Dead Game. Even watched the show and read the comics. I even beat season 1 all the way to the end and have played 2 episodes of season 2.

I am gonna say, do NOT play the game. It is rife with homosexuality, foul language, and most of the time God or Jesus is mention is in cursing. I regret spending so much money into it. I honestly don’t even know what I was thinking. Heck, some Original Characters on deviantART I created were based off the relationship of Lee and Clementine (though my story is cleaner) but the more I got into the walking dead the more I grew ill of it. As much as I hate to say it, I became an addict to the walking dead because I was attracted to the idea of a convicted murder trying to redeem himself by caring for a child, but the game is rife with immorality despite the heartwarming story. Do yourself a favor. Don’t play it. I may have wasted money on it, but hopefully I can stop you from doing the same.

Just to be clear I do play M rated games and am a zombie fan but I am done with the walking dead because of homosexuality. In fact, in the comics one of the characters named Paul Monroe who everyone nicknames “Jesus” because of his appearance is actually gay himself. I was even disappointed with The Last of Us when I found out Ellie was gay.

If you like things with post apocalyptic settings, watch the Book of Eli. It does have foul language, violence, references to cannibalism and the antagonist does use God’s name in a curse but the man character Eli is a post apoc survivor trying to defend what is believed to be the last known Bible left on earth. And not once does Eli curse.

I agree I felt uneasy about a few story-lines in this game and the countless times they take Gods names in vain was annoying. I too always loved zombies movies, programmes etc… I even have the walking dead tv show on box-set. I have nephews as young as 10 who played the last of us, I didn’t know Ellie was gay. This again is targeting the young to make them think it’s ok to live a homosexual lifestyle or there is nothing wrong with taking Gods name in vain over and over again never mind murder being made look like its normal. I will look up the book of Eli thanks

I agree with the other posters. I believe your Guardian Angel has been watching over you & sending a message. Remove yourself from areas of temptation.
