Would whispering very softly in Confession or talking very rapidly be the equivalent of trying to conceal your sins? I did it since my neck was kind of hurting and because although I wanted him to hear the sins I felt embarrassed saying them so I wanted to “get it out quickly”, or at least I think that’s what I was doing.

Also… I didn’t hear him give absolution. Maybe he whispered it too, but I’m not sure. He just made the sign of the cross at the end and said “Go in peace, God has forgiven your sins.” I doubt he’d tell me that without giving me absolution but nonetheless it was kind of unusual. Should I assume he whispered it? Overall should I assume that this all was valid or not?

If a priest has trouble hearing me he will ask me to repeat it (One in particular does this), so I’m inclined to think that if the Priest had trouble making you out he would have said.

I agree.

I’d lean towards yes.
However, if you’d like to, you could include the sins from this Confession at your next, saying something like “Father, I confessed x, y, and z at my last Confession, but was not sure of the validity, so I am repeating them here.”
