White House official: Trump will prosecute ‘sacrilegious acts’ of vandalism against Catholic churches, statues
‘President Trump will always demand law and order in American communities, and ensure the criminals causing these sacrilegious acts will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 20, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― President Donald Trump has promised to bring those caught vandalizing Catholic churches and statues to justice.

According to the Daily Caller, a White House official has stated that the “criminals” who have carried out the violent attacks will be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law.”

The unnamed official told the online conservative news magazine that President Trump has joined “the Catholic community in solidarity” during the wave of church-burnings and other desecrations.

Arson and vandalism are already illegal…it has zero to do with sacrilege.

Trump says water is wet, and people act like he’s a hero…

In general, I don’t think he understands the law. And I hope that people don’t get the misunderstanding that he can go after people engaged in other ‘sacrilegious acts’ (like that thing PZ Myers did). Those fall under Free Speech.

Thank you Mr. President.

This is (EVEN) better than if you used your powers to strong-arm Catholic believers, institutions, and the Little Sisters of the Poor into violating Church teachings, laws, their own consciences … and co-opting them to be assistant abortion pimps … like … the last guy and his “Catholic” silly sidekick.

I’m sure the Pope’s profusive thanks will soon join mine … and be every bit as rememberable as the mass at the Mexican border that had the sub-themes of supporting … something or other illegal … while fostering a novel new view … updating and correcting that Jesus guy’s bizarre interlude recorded in:
John 10:1.
  1. “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever does not enter a sheepfold (2) through the gate but climbs over elsewhere is a thief and a robber.
You may even be standing up for a minority group Mr. President, as the number of committed vandals these days may outnumber the number of committed Catholics*.

** mass attendance folks vs. “protest demonstrator” groups’ statistics.*

^ Though police are allowed to be more forceful with the former group.

It’s great to have a President on OUR side.

President Trump is perhaps the most actively pro-religious rights President in American history.

Yeah well violence against another person is also illegal and yet we have hate crimes.

Any person who attempts to kill or physically injure another person could be said to have hatred towards that individual. And yet here we are.

Having hate towards an individual is not the criteria for a crime to be considered a hate crime.

It’s easy to identify the existence of TDS when some “Catholics” won’t even side with President Trump on defending Catholic symbols, praying in church, or honoring Pope John Paul II.
