Washington, DC – White House officials have acknowledged that abortion and the controversy surrounding embattled late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller are holding up President Barack Obama’s potential selection of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to become the next Health Secretary.

"“Her nomination would raise serious concerns because her extremist pro-abortion views are so far outside of the American mainstream,” the GOP aide said."Her views on abortion are the same as Obama’s. The only reason the White House would be concerned in this one instance with naming a pro-abortion appointee (since all his appointees have been pro-abortion) is her involvment with the abortionist George Tiller, who is well known for providing late term abortions in a state where post-viability abortion is supposedly limited to cases involving life of the mother or “serious irreparable harm to a major bodily function.”
