Dear Cyber Knight:
Well, if someone posts anything at Catholic Answers Forums > Forums >
Non-Catholic Religions under the thread >
White Muslim , and doesn’t clarify to whom his/her post is actually addressed, then, it is natural that every participant/visitor of this thread will feel “may be it is addressed towards me”.
What is wrong if I replied with more interesting factual story to read about Honorable
Torquoato Cardilli’s?
Do you think the stature of Honorable
Torquoato Cardilli is less than any “White Muslim” from any angle?
Muslims
don’t have seperate “White Mosques” meant for White people or “Black Mosques” exclusively for Black people only, like you Christiandom has White Churches and Black Churches.
Allah (The God) says in the Holy Quran:
**يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ **
**O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). ** ----Surah 49:13
And it also says:
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْلآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُنذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ
And the Unbelievers say: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?”
But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide. ----Surah 13:7
The below is an excerpt from a speech delivered by the former U.S. President
Bill Clinton, co-chair, International AIDS Trust, on July 12, 2002:
It has been my experience that when people are pitted against others by politicians, they do it either out of fear of political damage or out of a desire for political advantage. Either motive is a rebuke to our common humanity.
A common humanity enshrined in all the great religions. The Torah says he who turns aside a stranger might as well turn aside from the most-high God.
The Holy Koran says that Allah put different people on the earth, not that they might despise one another but that they might come to know one another and learn from one another.
In the Christian Gospel, Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God but the next is like unto it – to love your neighbor as yourself.
In the Dhamma Pada, the Buddhist says never does hatred by hatred cease but by love alone.
In the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna says him I hold highest who suffers every sorry of every creature within his own heart. In our interdependent world, we have to suffer the sorrows of each other.
Our differences are differences are important. They make life more interesting but our common humanity matters more.
