I wanted to start this thread based on that fact that this type of thread has been done many of times before and I am starting one of my own because I feel differently now. Please let me know your thoughts! Maybe I will be enlightened to think otherwise?
Anyone who believes in Christ, regardless of the “type” of Christianity…they are still Christians.
Even though Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and any type of Christian who does not believe in the Trinity have a misconstrued idea of who Jesus is/was, they are still Christians in that they believe in Jesus as the Messiah and that He died on a cross for our redemption.
They strive to live “Christ-like” lives and to follow Him. They try, like us all, to live according to His teachings.
I have realized it is unfair to label them “NOT Christian”. They are still Christian, albeit their misunderstandings of His Divine Nature.
I guess I am wondering…at while point do we draw the line in “allowing” someone to be titled a Christian?
(A small comment):
According to many, I, as a Catholic Christian, am not considered Christian.
