Liturgy occupies the place of the Traditions for we those men who looks for their wordly Jerusalem but don’t find her. Because I see how hostile Israel is to the Cross I cannot become Jewish being Catholic at the same time. But I want mix religion and wordly existence anyways so I relish the liturgy. Maybe my spice presents me coarse in this fields so sacred! Forgive me if I am being offensive (that I said about Israel being hostile - I say this because Jews well say that Christianity is a pagan worship to a man-god (and not a God-man) or well they say Christ wasn’t God - For prove the Catholic position against both things I have to follow a way by a Ravine so Dark as Death - so I say an authentic relation with Israel is hard for me) I say I try to have towards the Catholic Church the same relation Jews use to have with Israel - remaining Catholic.
Saith all this now comes my question:
I read in Wikipedia that the Catholic Church dispose five colors of zuchetti (solidei - those skullcaps that Hierachs wear). The five colours are white, red, violet, black and **¿green? **=? ? ? ? What is that issue of the green?
I know white is for the Pope, red for Cardinals, violet for Bishops and black for Abbots and Priests. But green? =?! Who are supposed to wear green zuchetti?
Since the source is Wikipedia, and the source of that source talking about green zuchetti
wasn’t ecclesiastic
maybe they talk about something what isn’t real
thanks so much!
PS: I am so sorry for my english. I like so much ask these questions to you (US’s Catholics) I admire your catholic life (South American catholic life is more mature - and traditional things use to be despised)
