Fr. William Casey - on the ETWN Lenten retreat series
Fr. Corapi
Fr. Phil Bloom at Holy Family in Seattle - especially on marriage and sexual matters

peace be with you! Fr. Bill Casey C.P.M. and Fr. John Corapi S.O.L.T. come to mind. they are awesome. to give a few names that a few of you might not know…if you ever get the chance to hear a priest from the Community of St. John…they are awesome! they have a VERY different style from priests like Frs. Casey and Corapi but they are amazing. Fr. Antoine Thomas is part of that congregation. He is the one on EWTN with the Children’s Adoration program and goes to all the Catholic Family Conferences now as well.

Fathers Corapi, Pakwa, Grochel, and really all the EWTN preists. Father Al Lauer(who died of cancer) Locally Father Wackerman, who is Spirit filled and all the preists at our local shrine especially Father Marian Zelecky! I met a wonderful priest, Father Ronan Murphy, on a plane trip. He’s located in Atlantic City N.J.

Does anyone know Mitchell Wallace from Jacksonville Florida? he is a preacher there. Does anyone attend his church? I don’t know exactly which one he preaches at. but I need to know so I can come in contact with him.

Thanks

Jordan.

My favorite preachers are Fr. Corapi, Fr. Thomas Loya (Eastern Catholic), Pope John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI. And of course all EWTN priests.

I like the priests at my parishes (I play piano for several churches). They’re wonderful preachers. And I’m from an evangelical Protestant background, so I’ve heard some fine preaching. But these guys are good.

My FIL, who is decidedly NOT Catholic, likes Father Pacwa.

Definitely, the late Bishop Fulton J Sheen. 👍 👍
And Father Ted Colleton. Great religious jokes in his homilies. 👍 👍

Pax vobiscum
Good Fella

I second Jesse Romero!😉

I also love Fr Corapi, Fr Groeschel & Fr Mitch!

Fr Bernard Basset–he passed away about 20 years ago. He was a Jesuit priest who was a historian, wrote books, and gave retreats. I never heard of him until about 5 years ago when someone gave me audiotapes of his retreats. He’s great–if you get the opportunity, listen to his tapes.

Fr Richard Tomasek–he’s a Jesuit priest who was the spiritual director for our local seminary. He also gave some of the talks for our RCIA class. The last I heard, he has an assignment in Rome.

Msgr Frank Lane–he’s a local priest who is brilliant. He gave some of the talks for our RCIA class and was a guest on The Journey Home and has been a guest speaker twice at the CH Network’s Deep in History Conferences.

Fr Timothy Hayes–my pastor. He’s exceptionally bright and holy; gifted with knowledge of ancient languages and the OT.

Fr Thomas Dubay–All his shows on EWTN are exceptional.

I can’t forget Fr Groeschel, Fr Corapi, Mother Angelica, and Fulton Sheen.

I also like Dale Ahlquist, Marcellino D’Ambrosio, and Raymond D’Souza.

Also, I have to give credit to Scott Hahn and Pat Madrid–two people who introduced me to Catholic apologetics.

Father Gary and Father Robert, the priests of my parish, as well as Bishop Jugis, our bishop.

Father Richard John Neuhaus is my favorite Catholic columnist.

Pope Benedict XVI is my favorite Catholic theologian.

Fr. Corapi! I like his “shoot torpedoes if necessary” style. Also a priest who inspired me with his great love of God is Fr. Wes Nazruk, a Polish priest in the diocese of Edmonton. If anyone knows where he is now, pm me.

Father Mike MacMahon, Holy Spirit Church, Huntsville, AL…because when you’re down and you go to talk to him, he’ll give you a big hug that leaves you feeling like you’ve been hugged by God himself.

Fr. Corapi is my favorite.
Like to catch the Life is Worth Living rebroadcasts of Bishop Fulton Sheen.
Someone who is good especially if the person is not a Catholic seeking knowledge of the Catholic Faith is Michael Cumbie.

Of the one’s I’ve actually heard with my own ears, I would say Bp. Fulton Sheen and Fr. Corapi. There’s also some great local Dominicans near me who do some good preaching. My own pastor is one of the better parish priests of heard as well.

My favorites are Fr. Bill Casey, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, Fr. Anthony Mary and Fr. Angelus Shaughnessy of EWTN, Fr. Benjamin Kosnac (pastor of my parish, SS Cyril & Methodius in Sterling Heights, MI), and Fr. John Riccardo (pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Plymouth, MI).
