Very true. I have a son older than you,and a granddaughter 35 and grandson 31 and 4 great grandkids from 12-4. Hubby has 4 kids , 10 grandkids31-22 and 6 greats 15-3. so when we get together full house. My oldest son passed away 10 years ago at age 45.So yep my body is old.
No not old, just seasoned. 😃 With all those grandkids and great grandkids they keep you young and going. How are things?

You are correct. What the problem is is that you have been allowed close proximity with those who are still learning. In them the Force is not yet strong and they may still retain vestiges of the Dark Side. (sorry, couldn’t resist) Your priest is who is to blame for that. I can only hope that before you die (may you enjoy long life) you will remember all those sins that you did not believe in confessing.
And I would add at the end: “and call a Priest IMMEDIATELY”

And I only hope before you die that you have a chance to go to confession you will remember all your sins and your unkindness.
Thank you, I hope so too. Two of the spiritual works of mercy are to instruct the ignorant and to admonish the sinner. I have attempted to do both. Nothing unkind in that.🙂

So are you calling me ignorant and a sinner? Thank you very much, you are such a gentleman sure God is pleased

Romans 2:11 and Matthew 7:1-5.

I hope when he goes to confession that he tells the priest just how unkind he is to others. We were taught by Jesus to be kind, loving, understanding, and forgiving. When one attacks another person because of what they believe, even if it is in God, they are not doing justice to their religion, their God or themselves. I believe in confession, but to God, not to a priest, rabbi, pastor, but to God himself, don’t need a middle man to go to God for me. But I won’t put down on those who want to confess to a priest, rabbi, or pastor like some here will do. I may question and I may disagree but I won’t put down on someones religious practices.

Tweety, you sound like a beautiful person; misguided but beautiful. I will pray that you find the Church and all it’s glory to God. I am no longer angry at you (just your Priest) because I don’t believe that you are doing anything intentionally. But, I feel you are doing damage to the Church by having a teaching roll with the Church. Why can’t you find a ministry that does not involve teaching the catechumens?

Amen Rev.If people want to go to confession then by all means go, I do not have a problem and wouln’t put them down I believe in the old time religion. Like you I often disagree but we all love the Lord. How is your family?

Like said I do not teach anything that goes against one word the CC teaches.
For one thing I am not stupid and for another my Priest wouldn’t let me. I teach nothing at all about doctrine, period

I have no sin to confess in that regard. It is Christian and particularly incumbent on Catholic Christians to explain error to those who are going astray. All of us who have responded to your errors regarding particularly Confession have tried, with many citations from Scripture, to explain your errors to you. You are adamant in your contention that the Church and the Scriptures are incorrect and that your private interpretation of Scripture is correct. You even claim to be guided by the Holy Spirit, Who is of but one mind, the mind of God and the mind of the Church. It is no kindness to simply ignore error and consign protestants and unbelievers to ignorance. That is false ecumenism.

Family doing fine. Let me tell you I had a busy weekend at church. I was busy from Thursday to today. We had our anual Giant Garage sale which benifits our youth and earns money for them to go on mission trips so their parents won’t have to flip the whole bill. I donate my time for the kids by working at the Garage Sale.

RevKev, I don’t think we are trying to be unkind to anyone. But in nearly all your posts, you state clearly what you don’t believe is true about the Catholic Sacraments. I think we all know by now what you believe and don’t believe. But, you we can handle. It’s the professed Catholics that don’t believe their faith that we have the problems. You have a path to Heaven; I’m not sure about the unbelieving Catholics. Only God knows.

Okay, I can’t resist this one. Then who is not ignorant and who is not a sinner? all of us possess certain ignorance, it doesn’t mean not intelligent. And of course we are all sinners. I expect you agree technically with both, but pride may prevent you from admitting the comment is accurate.

I’ll buy that Tweet. Will you please tell me that you set in your seat during the communion and do not receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity or our Lord???

I am a sinner saved by Jesus’ grace and I am a bit ignorant too. But not ignorant about my love for Jesus.
