I’ll buy that Tweet. Will you please tell me that you set in your seat during the communion and do not receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity or our Lord???
Nope I told you I was honest so I cannot say I do.

I am a sinner saved by Jesus’ grace and I am a bit ignorant too. But not ignorant about my love for Jesus.
You profess to have a great love for Jesus, but persist in disobedience to the guidance of His Church, the Church that is the Bride of Christ and for whom he gave His life?

I have no sin to confess in that regard. It is Christian and particularly incumbent on Catholic Christians to explain error to those who are going astray. All of us who have responded to your errors regarding particularly Confession have tried, with many citations from Scripture, to explain your errors to you. You are adamant in your contention that the Church and the Scriptures are incorrect and that your private interpretation of Scripture is correct. You even claim to be guided by the Holy Spirit, Who is of but one mind, the mind of God and the mind of the Church. It is no kindness to simply ignore error and consign protestants and unbelievers to ignorance. That is false ecumenism.
To explain is one thing, to critize and name calling is another. If you don’t think you need to confess these things then don’t, thats a matter between you, your priest and God to handle. Now as far as the Holy Spirit that I “claim” who is guiding me, well yes he is guidiing me. See when I accepted Christ as my Savior, I gave my life to him, for him to be incharge of. The Holy Spirit is my guide, he tells me what is right and wrong, not only Scripture wise but in every day life. He controls how I treat others, what decisions to make reguarding my Sermons and if the decisions are correct or not. If you are not guided by the Holy Spirit I feel sorry for you. Now I don’t think I said that the church or Scripture is incorrect I mearly don’t see the need to confess to anyone other than God himself. If I’m wrong then I have to answer to God not you but if I’m right then you have to answer to God not me. I just wish and pray that you would be more kind to others who may not see things the way you do or the way the CC does. We are not bad, misguided people if we believe in God and live to please him, if we spread his word of love, kindness and trying to do as Jesus taught us. It would do a lot of good if we would just treat others like Christ would.

The last thing that I will say is that you worship God the way you want to, and we will worship God the way that He wants us to. Go in peace.

RevKev, I don’t think we are trying to be unkind to anyone. But in nearly all your posts, you state clearly what you don’t believe is true about the Catholic Sacraments. I think we all know by now what you believe and don’t believe. But, you we can handle. It’s the professed Catholics that don’t believe their faith that we have the problems. You have a path to Heaven; I’m not sure about the unbelieving Catholics. Only God knows.
 You have a path to heaven. Rev Kevin has a path to heaven. But you are not sure if a Catholic who does not believe everything has a path to heaven?

Same path for all 3. Christ. God bless and peace.

I do have a great love for Jesus. I am not being anything but a child of the King. And like Rev said If we are wrong then we will answer to God Not you and if you are wrong ditto.

  1. Does he who knowingly receives Holy Communion in mortal sin receive the body and blood of Christ and His graces?
He who knowingly receives Holy Communion in mortal sin receives the body and blood of Christ, but he does not receive His graces and commits a grave sin of sacrilege.

(a) To receive Holy Communion unworthily is a serious abuse of the sacred body and blood of the Lord, and therefore a sacrilege.

What part of this are you having trouble with Tweets? Don’t you realize that you are offending every Catholic in line that knows your views? Not to mention sacrilege which apparently doesn’t bother you all. Is all this happening just because you don’t want to go to church alone?

Where does it say that Christ gave his life for the church? So if your not Catholic then Jesus didn’t die for our sins? Some one can have the greatest love for Jesus and not be Catholic, see Jesus came here for all men not just for the CC. Christ didn’t say that you can only love me if you are or become Catholic. Where does it say that you are being disobedent if you don’t follow the CC? I noticed one thing here and that is the CC worrys more about authority, tradition, being around for 2000 years, the sacraments but they don’t worry about what Jesus taught us, love your neighbor, be kind to others, help those who are strangers or those who are sinners. God is love and we all love God. If we love God we can’t be wrong.

Did you get that outof the Bible, I think not. I CHOOSE to go with my husband and I believe all should be welcome at Christ’s table. Nowhere in the Bible does it say only take Communion if you are Catholic.

Hey cool thats the way it should be and Love to you brother in Christ.

Christ doesn’t want Tweet sitting. Jn 6:37 Everyone whom my Father gives me will come to me. I will never turn away anyone who comes to me

Nope He doesn’t nor any other believer in Christ.Question? When Jesus died on the cross did He ever say I am doing this only for Catholics? When He had the last supper did He say if you are Catholic do this in rememberence of me. I think not He died for all and if we believe in Him and confess our sins to Him He saves us. He did not say in the Bible I am only doing this for Catholics. The word aint even in the Bible. So we are all believers in Jesus no matter how we got here. So God Bless all and may you always show Gods love one for another. His great commandment was that we love one another.

Rev Kev, I am sorry you get that impression on a Catholic forum but sadly and unfortunately I understand why you would sometimes. Peace and brotherly love to you my friend in Christ.
