Who can translate Latin

If someone were to translate the Nova Vulgata into English and post it on the internet what would happen?
It would probably be given little attention compared to one that was authentically and proffesionally done.
 
Are those things even possible? 🙂
With enough translators and likeminded people, and lots of funding would be needed no doubt. Such a shame that there are some excellent works that probably will never get translated into English.

Believe it or not, there are languages into which the Latin translates better than (into) English. Polish, for example, since it’s also an inflective language, where word order is not important, second person is differentiated between singular and plural, subjunctives are clearer, implied verbs, implied pronouns, better demonstratives, much less vulgarity perhaps, inter alia. And this despite the fact that 50% of the English language has roots in Latin.
 
I am interested to give it a try. No telling how prompt, devoted nor timely I might be,

(Daily responsibilities have been slipping a bit lately, let alone something like avocational Latin :o )
