Who created God?

I am 38, and was Baptised last night at the Easter vigil at my church. One of my friends asked me the question, If God created all things, what or who created God.? And I didn’t know how to answer that. I am a true believer that doesnt question, and never thought of that myself. How do I answer that question?

God is the un-created source of all creation. God doesn’t have a creator. This is why He is God. This is very, very basic and it would appear that your RCIA teachers just skipped over it. You might mention this to your RCIA director.
