Who Created The Bigger Sin?

My sisters and brothers, I was wondering if I can get your opinion on this story that came across to me in the past couple of days.
A woman confided in me that she slept with her best friend of 20 years. She then said that was only half the sin, for he was married one year and she knew it also.
If someone were to ask Jesus who had created the bigger sin, would He say either the one who was married? Or the one who knew he was married. Just curious as to your opinions…Thanks 🙂

equal sin…IMHO one is not greater than the other!
 
But one must be responsible. I know they both sinned, I am just asking to take one side.

sorry cant take one side…they both sinned and they both sinned equally…once again this is just MHO.

Why do you have to pick who the bigger sinner was anyway?

Because in some scripture, Jesus refers to two men who had done wrong (I’ll try and find it), they equally sinned but Jesus found one to be the greatest of the two…I’ll get back to you on this one.

It would just be interesting, would it be the man who is newly married and had lust in the first place from the moment he set eyes on her? Or the woman that after a few cocktails, realizes just where it was truly headed.

well if one is under the influence of alcohol or other substance than I would say he committed the bigger sin:D

Now can I ask why you are trying to figure out who in your friends life committed the bigger sin (she or he)…is their some outcome you are hoping to achieve?

Yes, she is a spiritual person believe it or not, and I didn’t have an answer for her. I just told her that the flesh is weak and sometimes we go off the path, but pennance is all she needs.

It really had to do with scripture also if you read my above post.
