I am in a unique situation and am looking for some (name removed by moderator)ut on who to vote for in my local senate district.
The incumbant is a staunchly pro-life candidate and has the voting record to prove it. He is not afraid to defend the unborn. But he is against a constitutional amendment to our state constitution to define marriage between one man and one woman (state statue current defines marriage as between a husband and wife…a vague definition to say the least).
The challenger is not pro-life, but votes pro-life in the sense that government dollars should not support abortion. For example, the candidate favors embryonic stem cell research, but is not against private industry exploring such options. This candidate is on record as saying that marriage is between one man and one woman.
In your opinion, who do I vote for?
