Lonely Angel, please don’t let this guy anger you. We all know this guy is a heretic. Don’t let him dim your light in the least. The only thing we can do is pray for him.

Yeah, I might be going a little over the edge, but it’s just so stupid! 🙂 The guy seriously needs some help… This probably won’t end in a good way…

There is one way to beat him.

One word. four letters.

P-R-A-Y.

I’m more angry at the people who take him seriously than I am at him.

A story on this guy who claims to be the Second Coming was on ABC news yesterday morning, and then again they did a story on him last night on their primetime news program… and there is also a newsweek story posted on msnbc:

msnbc.msn.com/id/16840066/site/newsweek/

What bugs me the most? Besides the many clueless followers so desperate for something to believe in they’ve chosen to believe in him? The fact that he is getting so much press… and because of that, his following will only grow…

And he actually has the nerve to call himself Jesus… AND the antichrist…

He says there is no hell, we all go to heaven, no such thing as sin, only man’s law…

Two years ago at Growing in Grace’s world convention in Venezuela, he declared himself Christ. And just last week, he called himself the Antichrist and revealed a “666” tattooed on his forearm. His explanation: that, as the second coming of Christ, he rejects the continued worship of Jesus of Nazareth.
Over the past year, de Jesus has encouraged his followers to protest the alleged lies of other churches. ***In response, supporters have picketed Catholic congregations and burned religious materials, including crucifixes. ***“Our purpose is to open up people’s minds,” says de Jesus’ right-hand man, Carlos Cestero, who says that the group rejects violence. Jesus wouldn’t have it any other way—the question is whether de Jesus feels the same.
:bigyikes:

Pray for his followers! 😦

I am… and I’m pretty freaked out that he has any, to tell you the truth.
I can’t quite figure out if he’s just in it because of mental illness or if he’s actually making a deliberate attempt to fulfill prophecies out of need for fame…

Who do I really pray for? Those who have yet to hear his message and are lost without direction… those who may/will fall prey, but haven’t yet…

All of the above. Even the man behind this abomination.

😦 Is the Catholic Church going to step up and let the world know that this man is blasphemous? He uses the 666 which the Bible says is the mark of the beast (who he also claims to be and says his followers can never sin since there is no such thing as sin, no hell, and ect.) He proudly encourages his followers to recieve the mark too, How can people worship this man? He seems to go after Catholics mostly but ridicules protestants too. His people also go into churches making fun of Mass and destroying christian imagery.

This guy is sick. What’s sad is he obviously filling a need for these people. His teachings are so wrong it’s almost laughable. I felt really bad for the kids.

We shouldn’t be angry at anyone. :nope: But we should explain to those who are upset with this person that we should not take him seriously and that all we can do is pray for them.

Our media is driven by a secular agenda, so what better way than to get their message across by attacking Christianity at it’s roots during the Lenten season. I bet they sit around in a smoky room talking about how by introducing stories to thwart religion would best serve their purpose, so why not report about a sociopath, scam artist who is brazen in his attempts to dupe people who are easy prey.

What happens when he is finally caught in a sham duping people out of hundreds maybe millions of dollars? What are their followers going to do then…and I feel it coming. He’s too comfortable & arrogant in his approach.

A feel good religion without sin…
Does anyone remembering Jesus promising us a rose garden in this life…I remember…pick up your cross and follow me.
Store up your treasures in heaven…
No where does it say…call yourself God…the Antichrist etc…and you will be doing my will…

No false Gods before Me…God says…

More reasons to pray.
Another soundoff article in our Chicago Southtown had a person write in that the Miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s image appearing on St.Juan Diego’s cape was all faked…

What did PT Barnum say…you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time!

And a sucker is born every minute…guess PT Barnum was a prophet too!

I wonder when he is finally arrested and he has to appear before a judge to swear to tell the truth…he will put his hand on the bible and say…I swear to tell the whole truth, so help me, Me! Like George Burns in the movie “Oh God!”
Just a thought!

i think he is really sick and very weak. its just so unfortunate because his sickness and weakness have made him who he is today. i hope his followers will regain their common sense and see him for what he really is.

and besides, i dont think the world will never notice the second coming of Christ once it happened. and to disregard Jesus and His teaching. thats blasphemy! may God have mercy on him.

He’s not the AntiChrist, he’s a very naughty boy!😃
Nice Life of Brian ref in there. 😃

Actually, that guy has been discussed on these Forums a few times before (What seems to be his supporters also came into those threads). Seems he’s still on to his gimmick, eh?

That guy claims to be Jesus Christ returned. He claims to be the Anti-Christ since he objects to the worship of Jesus of Nazareth since HE is THE Christ returned.

Yep, a total nut job.

Sad part is all the poor souls is his utterly sending down the wrong path.

If he keep saying he is the antichrist some other nut job southern protestant NRA member with end up shooting the poor little wretched man.
