A proper Icon Corner should at least have an icon of Christ and of the Theotokos (Mother of God), and then any Saints that are special to you (your patron Saint, for example). Perhaps a Bible and a prayer book would be proper as well. You should make your Icon Corner as beautiful as possible to honor God and His Saints, but a humble icon corner is just as good as an elaborate one. Also, keep in mind that they Saints like to have a lampada, or oil lamp (a candle is fine too), lit in front of their icons so make that a habit. There is nothing wrong with printing an icon on paper and framing it; the Saints know your intention and pray for you and bless you for your love for them. Remember the widow’s mite.
