“These things impact other issues on which [Mr. Bush] and I basically agree,” the Georgia Democrat said. “I’ve never been convinced, if you let me inject my Christianity into it, that Jesus Christ would approve abortion.”
I have the utmost pity for devout protestants who struggle for what Jesus would do. It’s inconceivable that this should even be up to a debate for any Christian, yet a lifelong Christian is tentative on THIS issue.
They are blown by the wind and I feel sorrow for them and wish they would come home to join us in the fight. How can anyone say that the Holy Spirit is the temporal guide when without a rock even lifelong Christians don’t even get the most basic issues? What more proof could anyone need that Christ was right to create a church with a temporal shepherd with a much needed promise against the gates of hell?
Pray for the unborn.
Pray that the grace of understanding will be given to those who do not oppose abortion.
