I was taught that from the time I was a little girl and believed it and lived by it. Then because of it, I got pregnant outside of marriage and my child and I have been suffering for it ever since.
Soon after having my baby, I became Catholic - in part, because the Once Saved Always Saved simply doesn’t make any sense and it is Not consistant in anyway with the teachings of the Bible, specifically Jesus’ own words in the New Testament.
I should have also mentioned that I was a Baptist and had never in my life heard the name of John Calvin until after several years of becoming Catholic.
