Who is Bob McCarty?

I’ll put my “money” on Allan Ruse…he is the President of of C-Fam ( Catholic Families & Human Rights Institute)…an incredible Human Rights and Dignity of Human Person organization… a NGO (Non-Government Organization)…fighting through International Laws… the Culture of Death(COD)…on a worldwide scale…fighting the COD…at the heart and source of many of the problems…the UN…where ideology is tied into social policy and financial, medical and domestic support programs for Third world nations…especially in Africa…where UN support to dependent on Receiver Nations is coupled to/linked to accepting and making laws that support and enshrine COD methods/policies.

He was a founding member of C-Fam and since 1997…C-Fam has had representation at every UN meeting dealing with Human Dignity and International Human Rights Laws and Programs. Allan Ruse has been the front man on most all of them. Can you imagine 16 years of going to UN meetings…God what a Cross you have given this man and his cohorts…but thank God for the abundance of great graces given to sustain them in their fight for a Culture of Life.

If you want to see where the Boy Scouts (BSA) is headed…just look at the Girl Scouts (GSA) who have a partnership with Planned Parenthood…they have driven GSA into a moral ditch! Bob McCarthy is…either invincibly ignorant of Church Moral Law… or a liar setting Church teaching to suit his agenda…AKA Nancy Pelosi…either one is dangerous…especially when they have power over our youth…youth development programs.

We must be very careful with ascertaining the status of the Girl Scouts, particularly at the troop or council level (many of whom would have no links with the abortionists). The Church has not ruled one way or the other on the national organization. Let us allow the investigation to run its full course, then condemn if it is condemned, where it is condemned.

Ruse has a valid opinion. But until authority has ruled, it is just that - an opinion.
 
Why abdicate our parental authority? Why wait for NFCYM or USCCB or any other set of letters to come forth with a statement which may or may not be tarnished by political influences? They will put out official statements, but that statement will at worst be politically motivated and at best will be aimed at what is best for the community at large…not necessarily what is best for your own child.

Do your own research…there is new information coming out all the time. Consider the risks vs benefits. Imagine the worst case scenario of participating or not. Ask yourself if these risks are worth taking to receive the benefits you seek. Weigh this against the risks and benefits of similar organizations. Speak with your own pastor if you need to…and pray! Pulling a girl out of GSUSA or keeping her out when her friends are joining might be the unpopular choice…so the easy road is to wait until someone else tells you what to do…that way we avoid carrying the burden ourselves. That road is very attractive! I don’t fault anyone for wanting to take that road.

But for me, having had the opportunity to witness with my own eyes…the risks are too great.
 
Thank you for the responses, especially Lancer. I wasn’t aware of C-Fam and I’m glad to find it.

Wan’t the GSA involvement with Planned Parenthood brought out over 15 years ago? I seem to recall my girls wanting to join than and finding out about it. I don’t trust the USCCB, and the councils on scouting, to decide what toothbrush I should use let alone what organizations follow Church teaching.
