What you quoted wasn’t my post. I never said “binding the conscience is in the bible.” The Bible does talk about prophecy after Jesus. And I don’t get why you requoted that last bit?
I can’t figure out how you figure this is unbiblical?Personal revelation to the members of The Magistarium has alwasy been in effect and used by The Holy Spirit to guide Priests in The Church since Acts (all decisions were made and prayed over and decided with the help of The Holy Spirit…including doctrinal decisions).
My quote “is” biblical.I can’t figure out how you figure this is unbiblical?
Thank you for educating us on that.it is indeed improper to include Anglicans with Protestants. The reason for this is that the Anglican churches have preserved the three orders of traditonal Catholic ministry, The Episcopate, the Priesthood and the Diaconate. The anathema pronounced by His Holiness Leo XIII in 1896 can no longer be considered valid. The reason for this is that all Anglican Bishops have been consecrated to the Episcopate by participating Polish National Catholic Bishops, which Rome has always believed to have a validly ordained clergy. The PNCC church may be schismatic but it is not heretical. Pope John Paul II demonstrated this new openess to Anglican priesthood when he visited the Anglican Canterbury Cathedral in England. He took off his episcopal ring and placed it on the hand of the archbishop of Canterbury. First among equals of all anglican heirarchs. Anglicans are eucharist oriented. All seven sacraments are available . To relegate Anglicanism to a general Protestantism is not only unfair but perhaps blasphemous
Ah! Let me ammend my statement:Untrue. Mormons are not Protestant because they are not Christian.
