Who is Fr. Richard Rohr and is he someone in line with the Church?

I have Friend with our Cursillo group who is thinking about going on one of Fa Richard Rohr’s Retreats. I don’t know much about him but what I read about him doesn’t seem to be in line with Catholic Teaching.Does anybody know if his idea’s are in line with Catholic Teaching?

Hi,

Fr. Richard Rohr is a Franciscan who seems to have really fallen off the rails with regard to his fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church. I would never encourage anyone to go on one of his retreats.
