Hello!
St. Paul wrote that the church is the mystical body of Christ. He compared it as Christ’s spouse and since he also wrote that the Lord Jesus is the new Adam, it follows that the church, as His bride, is the new Eve. I’ve read somewhere, but I can’t remember what book or online article, that the Blessed Mother is the new Eve since the first Eve disobeyed God, the new Eve obeyed God. I am more inclined to believe that the church is the new Eve instead of the Blessed Mother being the new Eve. It would be easier to accept and believe that the Blessed Mother is the new Ark of the Covenant. This is confusing for me so a little help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless!
