Dear Tweety,
Please get your facts straight.
In one post, Saved stated that the RCC didn’t exist until the 4th century. That is a lie, historicaly verifiable. He then stated that the RCC had created false doctrines. I then demonstrated to him that those doctrined can be traced at least to the 3rd century with historical evidence. The RCC could not have been making false doctrines in the 3rd century if it “didn’t exist” until the 4th as Saved alledged. One of his statements would then have to be a lie. Therefore, he is a liar.
Protest-ants don’t protest the RCC? What in the world has Saved been doing for half a day? Have you been reading any of this forum? Where do you get this “they don’t protest the RCC?”
Please do your homework before attacking me. I’ve done mine, and you will lose.

Dnu, it’s probably best just to ignore tweetymom. I’ve noticed this in her dealings with a number of other Catholic posters on other threads where Protestantism is being discussed.

I did say those things. However, I said them by backing them up with irrefutable historical evidence. Exposing someones lies and backing up that claim with evidence is not being “rude,” that is called intellectual honesty.

Tweety is famous for those type of 3 or 4 word responses as well as parroting off little of the same things over and over. She’s never given any type of sound or reasonable rebuttal to anyone on this forum and it really should be a matter of time before her name says ‘banned’ under it as well as Saved’s now says. All one has to do is continue to report any similar responses of hers to get a mod’s attention to see she’s clearly not here to learn. Take note Tweety. Saved is obviously banned for the lies he tried to spread without any attempt to back them up with documentation or credible sources. Simply linking us to a bunch of poorly taught ex Catholics on another forum ranting how they are now saved doesn’t do much for anyone here. You do the same thing though you’re not as agressive about it. You’re more the type to continue to take little jabs at us over and over again while you sit by the wayside.

First I would like to say this has gone somewhat afar of the original post, but it has been interesting. It seems that some of us are willing to defend our positions with reasonable documentation and some of us stand pretty much alone clutching our KJV bible and our own interpretations. In defense of the KJV you need to get one that was printed in the 1500’s. I think it is called the Guttenburg Bible. It will have the full canon, although I have a hard time understanding 16th century English ( or in this case Old German).
To address SavedByJesus, you really do not or did not understand the teachings of the Catholic Church. You have been filled with vitriol which you spew out as the only gospel not realizing that the Catholic Church was started by Jesus the Christ handing the keys of the kingdom to Simon Peter. Jesus Himself being a Jew performed rituals and told his disciples to do the same. Spend some time reading the Book of John, Jesus clearly showed us at the last supper that this ritual was to be done in His memory and that is was/is His body and blood. If you choose to not believe this then how can you believe anything else in the bible. Keep in mind also that the traditions that the early church followed were passed down to the next group through the oral tradition long before the bible was put together. Too many new christians follow the teachings of the Protestant churches that have no history before Luther and Calvin and some of the others. These other churches were formed by man … The Catholic Church was formed by Jesus and He gave authority to Simon Peter to build His church here on earth. We as Catholics follow the bible and tradition/Tradition and the teaching of the magestirum. If you truly want the whole truth you will only find the fullness of the truth in the Catholic Church.

Christ is the rock of my salvation. I praise Him everyday for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon me and my family. I am very thankful for His saving Grace that saved a wretch that i was. He is very real in my life and in my heart. I am very sorry that I do not agree with you all most of the time. But one thing I know for sure is that Jesus is my Savior.
