For 1000 years the only way that anyone knew this was because the Catholic Church, taught this. Then came the schism between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. We had to wait 500 more years before Protestantism came and deleted books from the canon.

While you delete the canonical books from the Bible, you need to delete a few other things that the Catholic Church or Catholics “Added” to the Bible.
  1. Punctuation
  2. lower case letters
  3. separations between the words
  4. Chapter Numbers
  5. Verse Numbers
  6. Translations from Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic into modern languages. (There were approved Catholic Versions in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and other languages prior to the KJV and Luther’s translation) let alone the beauty of the Vulgate of St. Jerome.
  7. Any number of other items that allow Protestants to have a Bible today
 
NON Denominational.

I belongs to God’s church…the church spoken of in the New Testament…all those who truly beleive in him represent his church.

Why is that everytime it says in the Bible not to do someting the Catholic Church does it anyway and then adimately denies they do it and then dismisses it as nothing?

And of course they twist it to fit their own man made traditions/ laws…those commandments NOT of God but of man.

Also, have you had any luck locating that primary source document/citation from 1500 a.d. or earlier that says “ignore the church and follow Jesus only while reading the King James Version of the Bible only?”

Still love to read that source.

Those are there to bring to the attention of what Jesus was warning us about which sadly is most representative of the RCC.

On what infallible ecclesial source are you and/or your Pastor basing your interpretation? And why is your interpretation more correct that say, a Baptist or Methodist Church down the road, whom I would bet you $20 has views that are diametrically opposed to your own. You both claim the same thing, but one of you must be wrong.

Your source that gives you authority to claim proper interpretation of Bible versus is?

I just skimmed a KJV, I didn’t see those red letters you used about the Pope, Mary, etc. Are you using a different KJV than me? Did you get those red letters about the Pope, Mary, etc. from a Church Father? I’d like to read it.

Hows the search for that primary source document coming alluding to Jesus only?

Actually, the words in 2 Thess are the words of Paul. In fact, modern biblical scholarship tells us that they likely aren’t even Pauls, but we won’t bicker over those silly facts. Hows the search coming for the citation I’ve been asking for-for four hours?

And what about His words outside the Sacred Scriptures the “wetther by word…” that Paul tells us to hold onto?
 
Saved, do answer a question for me; how did we get the Bible, and how did we decide how many books it has? It doesn’t say, so where did it come from, and how did it get organized and by whom?

So Catholics are to be confined to the Bible, and you can use Lorriane and the bad-history Bears in addition to the Bible? Are we to beleive that you opened the Bible without any direction from anyone except the Spirit. Now with all the cutting and pasting you’ve been doing from the traditions of Boettner.

People need to be afraid of getting tied up in teachings that don’t line up with scripture and instead keep their eyes strictly on Jesus and if the teachings stray from that at all, then it should be left by the wayside. If it doesn’t preach Jesus as the ONLY way to the Father (no prayers to Mary, no praying to the dead, no rituals, etc…) then it should be left by the wayside. We are in a day and age where trying to find the commonalities in “paths to Heaven” can become a dangerous game, there is only one true Jesus all others are counterfeit and we know satan is the master of counterfeit!

There is a difference when we, as beleivers, don’t follow the teaching of scripture out of fear of division, hurting others, etc. And in the end, we don’t help the lost to get saved. If the Holy Spirit is wooing unbelievers, we who have the Holy Spirit, need to be speaking the truth in love. But, it must be the whole truth, and not full of feel good compromise. That’s where the rubber meets the road. And that is when we pray for wisdom!!!

**Psalm 118:8 **[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

**1John 2:27 **But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Trust in the LORD and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you…Amen

Faith is called FAITH for a reason…who are you trusting in for your salvation? Because Christ already paid the price in FULL for your sins, paid our debt in FULL, but not according to all the rituals try to **earn one’s salvation ** within the false teachings of the RCC.

Thank you Jesus for Salvation through you, Thank you Holy Spirit of God for bringing conviction on me and Thank you Father God for making a way for us all to be saved and spend eternity with YOU!

Jesus I pray that Catholics everywhere who read these postings choose to seek the truth that is ONLY found in your Word. Many are so devout and feel they are on the right path but sadly follow the commandments of men which do not lead to salvation.

SavedByJesus the Bible doesn’t tell us how many books should be included in the Canon. Thus have you not gone outside the Bible? With what authority have you done this?
