Who is this Cardinal?

Hello Everyone,

If you visit the "Adopt a Cardinal page at adoptacardinal.org/ you will see a picture of him, (he is the first on the bottom left of the page).

The reason I am asking who he is, is because I am almost sure that I have met him before (very briefly). I visited a monastery a couple years ago, and he looks exactly like one of the people I saw there. At the time I visited this monastery there were also other visitors and clergy from other parts of the world present.

I might be overeacting, but I’m quite sure this was the same guy who I saw sitting accross me in the Refectory. I could be wrong, maybe it was just someone who looked alot like him, but his face is too distinct, and too familiar for me to assume that he is not the one I’m talking about)

I would appreciate if someone has information about him? Where he is from etc, etc? If I can know who he is, I will be able to know if I really did see him at the monastery I visited, or If my mind is just playing tricks on me.

Well “met” was the most suitable word I could think off. We did not talk, but we did look at each other and nod, with an occasional smile. After all we were in a monastery, talking wasnt encouraged very much, except to 1 brother who was supposed to look after me.

I’m still curious to know who he really is.

Oh I see. It was the monastery. I wonder where that monastery is. Anyway I hope someone will give you the details of your concern Cardinal.
 
well, I did as you asked and went to the site you link us to. There is no way I could see “your” Cardinal. I had to register and they selected a Cardinal for me. There is no list or series of photos. But thats OK with me I’ll pray for my Cardinal because he really needs it. :highprayer:

Sounds rather strange, the picture was just at the bottom of the page. I don’t know, maybe they updated the website. Well thanks for trying to help out. I’ll be praying as well, they all need prayers.
 
There is also a “solo” pic of a Cardinal, Cardinal Wuerl. Is that the pic you meant?

Yes that was the picture I was referring to. Thank you for the link! I will check it and see what I find.
