Who is/was this Saint?

[goforgoal]

Saint Gertrude of Nivelles.

I know that she is Patron Saint for cats.

But, do the mice or rats represent anything?

I’ve read somewhere online that they represent all the Holy souls in Purgatory

This is a new saint, to me!

And a Patron for cats… yet! Hmm. I’ll have to let my little “Spooky-cat” know about this!

Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I’d always been told cats were Jewish – the “chosen species,” you know.

At least, MY guys think they are very, very special!!
