Who is your favorite Saint and/or Father?

Saint Francis of Assisi and St padre Pio are my favourite saints as they have inspired me throughout my life.

Has to be a tie between St Basil and St Chrysostom: both have taught me so much! St Basil regarding theology, the Creed, and bible study. St Chrysostom has been my teacher in biblical studies with the many commentaries he has written. Do you want to properly understand Romans? Let Chrysostom be your guide!

Please dont ever not be proud of being a member of Christs Church, don`t ever forget the Church is His Bride. You may be ashamed of certain things individuals members of the Church do and we do have our tragedies; Great Schism, scandals like sex abuse etc. Delve into Church history and you will see it has always been so.

Back on topic, I have too many saints of the both Eastern and Western traditions I could call favorites it is hard to narrow down but I see no one has mentioned Blessed Theodore Romzha yet.

Thank you. I was wondering if I did the right thing becoming Catholic about 11 years ago. Your statement about Church history can even be seen several places in the New Testament especially in Acts of the Apostles.
