My kids enjoy watching reruns of the old Andy Griffith show and there is a character named Ernest T. Bass. who makes us all laugh. The actor is Howard Morris and he deserves a hand for his performance…Also Klinger on Mash played by Jamie Farr…

Carl Betz as Dr. Alex Stone on the Donna Reed Show

Definitely Paladin from “Have Gun- Will Travel”.
The guy had to be one of the manliest men that ever lived, a real man’s man. He knew at least 6,537 languages, knew all the very finest of everything and could taste any dish and tell you what exotic ingredients were in there. He was a man of the world ! Most women could not resist him, and he could beat most guys up. Paladin was just about the fastest gun that ever lived, but could pick up a sword or a whip with ease and be great with them also. He was rich, dressed exquisitely, always seemed to be connected to the right people, and could quote poetry. He was gentle with women and was always a gentleman in their presence. What a man ! 😉

I like Josh Randall. The Steve McQueen’s character in Wanted: Dead or Alive. Mainly because it’s Steve McQueen.

Matt Dillon (Gunsmoke) and Mary Richards (Mary Tyler Moore Show). Yes I know, it’s an odd combination.

At first I thought you meant Barney Rubble.

I’m going to pick Fred Flintstone.

Hawkeye from MAS*H
Jessica from SOAP
Muttley from Wacky Races etc…

Gomez from The Adams Family always cracked me up. And Eddie Haskell from Leave it to Beaver. And no one could ever forget either the Fonz or Mork from Ork.

I was and still am a fan of Matt Dillon.

In fact, I named my son Matthew - Matt for
short!

I had to really think about this as I have too many to count, really. The Fonz and Vinnie Barbarino were awesome. Dr. Johnny Fever on WKRP was fun, but never got enough screen time.
But from a pure character standpoint, Miles Drentell on thirtysomething was the best.

Can’t stand Ernest T. Bass, but I do like Andy Griffith as Andy Taylor and Frances Bavier as Aunt Bee.

Also love Rue McClanahan as Blanche Devereaux and Lucy and Desi, of course!

I liked Bonnie in Knight Rider.

It told me it was possible for women to work in STEM fields. I finally started getting A grades in maths and science once I found out it was possible for girls to learn mathematics and science.
