Was that the Hitchhiker’s Guide guy? Sounds familiar anyway…
 
I like a lot of secular authors, musicians, actors, etc. Unless they go off the hook with atheist rants, I’m ok. I used to be a raging Rush fan (progressive rock band) until I realized how deeply and entrenched Neil Peart, the drummer/lyricist was in Ayn Rand’s objectivism selfish atheist junk. It’s tough to listen to them now LOL…

If that author is making too many statements on an atheist road trying to prove the non-existence of God, I’m not sure I could stomach him LOL :eek:

Hello everyone. I am writing to speak in defence of Zac Poonen. I do not expect to change the minds of those who have seen fit to find fault in the man. All I want to say is that, from a logical and practical point of view, his teaching is absolutely wonderful. He is a sort of successor to Derek Prince in my opinion - if only for the transparency of his intellectual thoroughness and straight-forwardness. I and my wife have been blessed by his sermons. Every one that I have heard (maybe ten or fifteen sermons on youtube) and each message I have read from the CFC web-site confirms to me that Mr. Poonen is an outstanding example of those five virgins who were not so foolish as to forget to put enough oil in their lamps. If anyone disagrees, thinks I am simply ‘gushing’ or wants to know more, please listen to the semons ‘Everything outside of Christ is rubbish’ or ‘Acquiring a heart of wisdom’ - both of which are on youtube.
