I have some weird news.
Apparently, some Japanese anime had been shown in South Korea of all places!

Aren’t the korean and japanese don’t go well with each other?

I know. That’s why when I had found out that Japanese anime were shown in South Korea, I was stunned. Something tells me that relations are warming up between those two countries. 🙂
In fact, Sailor Moon was known to have been shown in one of South Korea’s government-owned TV stations, KBS2.
The weird thing is, I found that out after looking at a box containing a Sailor Moon figure from South Korea!

Woah, the figurine is from South Korea!?
That’s quite a discovery.

Personally, try to find “this” figure;

Too bad, couldn’t “buy” it. It’s custom-made…
:banghead:

Currently, I have the nendoroid of Azusa and Snow Miku.
I doubt it’s original and suspect it’s from China. I’m not sure as I’ve never see in front of my eyes the “original” nendoroid.

By that, I mean that the figurine was probably not made in South Korea, but had Korean characters on it.

Cool, kendo~
For the physical condition, if you really want to improve, try the gym and do a bit of treadmill.
If you’re not used to physical exercise, try 15 minutes a day. Then increase the training time gradually.
I’ll try doing that although honestly, we can’t afford a treadmill. Thing is, I also want to improve my diet. I’m not fat or anything, but I am rather chubby and have a gut. I also have a sweet tooth and not eating sweets makes me go a bit crazy as I feel that sweets give me energy. Guess I should substitute them for nuts!Thing is, I eat sweets simply to be able to think as I heard that sugar fuels the brain. Am I doing something wrong here?

I’m currently reading the Kenichi the mightiest disciple manga (forget the anime which is just blasphemy to wards the manga, the manga is a masterpiece!). Despite the HUGE amount of fanservice, the manga is still very great, extremely well written and both awesome, heartwarming and sweet. The fight scenes are very, very good, together with the fights from Hayate the Combat Butler and Rurouni Kenshin as some of the best I’ve ever seen, the characters are all great and likable, especially Kenichi, Miu and the Ryozanpaku masters and the plot which is a coming of age story about a kid learning how to grow strong is just great. And don’t tell me that it sounds like the movie Karate Kid. Kenichi has as many similarities to Karate Kid as Ashita no Joe has to Rocky.

Ignore the fanservice or look over it and just read Kenichi. It is very, very good. It maybe inferior to Rurouni Kenshin but to me, it’s like it’s spiritual successor. Whenever I read it, I get this strong sense to do good and grow strong like Kenshin Himura. Kenichi is just a fantastic character, being a cowardly lion but actually being smart, strong willed, stubborn, and just nice all around.

Is that Sakuya from Hayate the Combat Butler? If not, who is it?

Akka, also check the box in the link that I had sent you to see that KBS-2TV thing on it. :3

You can read Korean characters?
Honto ja arimasen~ 😃
Not really.
I can differentiate Korean and Japanese character.
I don’t remember seeing circles in Japanese character. That’s how I differentiate it~ 😛
The Japanese character have this somesort of “slashy” feelings in it, the koreans are like a bit “boxy and circly” look.

True, Hangul has that. :

Still, the idea that Sailor Moon was dubbed and shown in South Korea is a little shocking. Personally, I want to see Sailor Moon on KBS World. :3

Hehe, I doubt the opening theme song would be the same. It’s going to be dubbed into Korean. I like it more when it’s in Japanese.

The Malay version, my native language, feels more like old fashion Jazz bar karaoke than an anime opening… 🤷

Last I checked, they did that back then.
Please KBS World, show Sailor Moon along with Ah! My Goddess. 🙂
Moonlight Densetsu (Korean version)

The Malay version is awesome. :3
The Filipino version, my native language, sounds more like the original Japanese version much like the Korean one. :3

Note: I am not a Sailor Moon fan. I’m an Ah! My Goddess fan. :3

The true challenge is differentiating Japanese from Chinese. It’s surprising how many people can’t do this. 🙂

Korean writing has an actual alphabet so it’s fairly easy to differentiate it from other languages. The Leung (circle) is the quickest tell tale…

The awesome thing is, even Inuyasha is shown in South Korea! 🙂
And yes, I can poke fun at Miroku’s Korean name a lot! 🙂

We have an Animax channel here (in Malaysia). It have English dub.
Don’t watch it quite much, except for Last Exile - Fam, the Silver Wing. They said showed at same time as Japan. It makes me, uh… doki doki 😃

Let me guess, they also have Inuyasha? :3

I just hope that they don’t have Winx Club though. 🙂

I think Winx Club will be in the Cartoon Network/Disney Channel.
Inuyasha, I think the series have ended for now in Animax.

animaxasia.com/schedule

According to the schedule of Animax Asia, they have Sergeant Keroro (Season 4)
Episode 39 right now. Bleach, K-on!!, Fairy Tail… nope, no Inuyasha this season 😃
