The angels were created good. There is no “pre-existence” of evil as a force or an entity prior to the creation of the angelic beings.The above site you gave to me states that the rebellious angels had a free will to choose good or evil. This implies that good and evil existed prior to the fall of the rebellious angels. Who created this “good” and “evil?” And, who was the tempter?
Angels were given a test before being admitted to the Beatific Vision. Some angels accepted this test and hence grew in the divine virtues. Some grew in charity others in humility.
Lucifer being the most perfect angel by creation, did not take nicely to this divine test, and no longer saw God as good or his good. Lucifer now saw God as the oppressor of his liberty his freedom. Lucifer continued his downward spiral of pride, lust for power and resistance to God’s grace.
No one tempted Lucifer, he sinned of his own accord.
