I think you know pretty well by now that death is understood to refer to bodily death. You can only win your argument by defining death as only when a soul ceases to exist. Writing in all caps and repeating yourself is not doing a good job at convincing me.

Thus dying and resurrection is merely the ‘immortal soul’ floating in and out of the body, according to CHURCHianity.
You mean CHRISTianty. And I’m pretty sure Jesus used the words “the worm dieth not to refer to hell.”

““I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us!” - John 17: 20, 21
Jesus is praying that the disciples know the same loving unity with the Father that He has as the Son. No contradiction.

“I think you know pretty well by now that death is understood to refer to bodily death.”

Yes- incorrectly.
I notice YOU haven’t told us what God Himself (not ‘Themselves’) meant by “death”.

Why?

NO apostle believed not taught Jesus was the God he and they served- so Thomas was praising both his Savior and the One (not “Three”) that resurrected him.
Paul’s words come to mind. “Have the same mind in you that was in Christ Jesus, who though He was in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal to God.”

That is just polytheistic opinion.
So you say Thomas was praising only ONE of his Gods?

“Thought it not” was archaic English for " never thought it".

Phil 2:5- Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6- who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped. - RSV

On another thread, people made it clear to you what Catholic beliefs in the trinity are, but here you are going off on it again being inflammatory as if you still didn’t know any different. You are being intellectually dishonest.

Sorry you feel that way.
I REFUSE to believe anything that is the opposite of what Jesus and scriptures teach.
That offends all in EVERY denomination.

It is obvious you are upset about the Catechism, but you haven’t effectively used evidence and logic to prove any of your assertions. It’s like your arguments can only exist in their own bubble. You should work on that.

Sorry Jesus’ words mean so little to you.
Is this all you have? All you can do is attribute motive?

“You don’t believe me? Well, sorry you don’t care about what Jesus said!”

It’s petty, and you’re not going to win any souls doing it.

To all the posters other than the originator of this thread, I ask, 'why are you even bothering to waste your time responding to this inanity? Beats me.

Because Jesus would have done so. There are 99 people on this forum who don’t need our help, so let us go back for the one that does.

AGAIN- who told the Truth?
God or Satan?

Where do you imagine the ‘immortal souls’ of Adam and Eve are?

We ALL need help.
I’m not denying the fact that the 99 can’t be neglected. They still need to eat and drink, of course- but they’re not the ones who are missing.

Missing from where? CHURCH?

If the Church ignores scripture, they are better off…
