Okay, so I guess there may really be no answer as to the first saint, as everyone has a different opinion of what “first” means. I guess I can say that Saint Stephen was the first Christian saint then?

The first person to die in a State of Grace was Abel. He went to the Limbo of the Fathers until Christ descended into Hell.

In time, the first saint, in my opinion would have been Abel, but in Eternity, only God chooses who is to first enter the Pearly Gates.

What I’d like to know is not who is the first, but who will be the LAST saint?
