“Greatest” can be defined however you wish it; righteousness, glory, piety, accomplishments, miracles, etc.
What about Nathan? To go before King David who has unlimited powers? David has sent a man to his death so as to take his wife. He can order Nathan to be killed on the spot, and it will be done.“Greatest” can be defined however you wish it; righteousness, glory, piety, accomplishments, miracles, etc.
That’s almost impossible to answer, other than to speculate with personal opinion, rather than as God considers each of these. Each had their own call and mission from God, and each had their own difficulty with fidelity. Don’t we all?
And Jesus said John the Baptist was the greatest but the smallest in the kingdome of God is greater.
