It is evident that is NOT attending because it cannot fulfill our Sunday or Holy Day obligation.
I have said absolutely nothing about holy days of obligation. Please do not derail what I am saying.
I have said we can, do and should attend spiritually.
I have also given 2 examples where attending spiritually is efficacious to us
  1. Spiritual Communion
  2. Papal blessings
Yes, but only physically.
Show me where it only means ‘physically’ in any dictionary.

“To go to” is not another meaning. It is part of the meaning “to be present”.
Where does this definition define attend as a physical activity exclusively? I cannot see it.
I stand by my use of this word coupled with spiritually. I wont respond to this further here so as not to derail this thread with a semantic debate. I have a thread up, feel free to move there to continue this.

The parish I once attended the priest selected the parishoners whose feet he would wash and then they were told to chose someone whose feet they would
wash. @Fauken

No foot washing here, but I traditionally just do the deep cleaning of the house during holy week. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think of the washing of the feet when I was scrubbing the grit off the hearth and wood stove.
