Ill watch. One of my friends happens to know a few of the guys in WWE. So even though wrestling is fake and just storylines, I have come to really appreciate the hard work these guys do to put on these events and have good matches. You would also be surprised how many of these people are Christian. Some of the older guys like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Sting, the late Eddie Gurrero, Big Show, Chris Jericho, even Brock Lesnar.

The stories of Shawn Michaels and Sting are really amazing. Sting’s real life marriage was falling apart and he ended up turning to drugs. Then he started talking to God and He saved him. Shawn Michaels always use to say a prayer when he came on stage to come to the ring. I also remember reading that he and his family do a lot of family praying together. Nice to watch and support guys like this. 🙂

I never have understood the attraction of this, or watching cars going around really fast in a circle over and over again. But then, watching a show about putting in a floor heating system could be quite boring to other people [the kind of stuff I watch]. Who am I to judge?👍

Going back to the commentary I posted a link to, does anyone find it unfortunate that Patrick Michael doesn’t think it would be a good idea to have Aaron Neville perform at WrestleMania XXX? Mr. Neville recently appeared on The World Over.

I used to like WWE but stopped watching when Shawn Michaels retired. I don’t get it when people go on about it being fake, I think they miss the point. It’s a performing art, a soap opera mixed with athletics and gymnastics. I think academics call it a carnival.

I stopped watching well before the WWF was rebranded as WWE. In my mind, Shawn Michaels will always be just half of the “Rockers” tag team. 😛 But, yeah, I never quite understood why people griped about it being fake. I like how you described it. I’ve always called it a soap opera for guys. It still takes skill to come up with and perform the choreography. And it’s not as if they are deceitful about it be fake.

But no, I won’t be watching. I never did go for “pay-per-view”, even back when I did watch it as a kid. I wouldn’t recognize anyone anymore anyway.
