I am wondering who on this board will be watching The Davinci Code Movie when it finally comes out.

I for one will be boycotting this movie just as I did the book with the hopes that it will not be a huge box office hit. I’m not against anyone watching this movie but have chosen not to see it myself!

Peace 👍

Yes, I will see it. Gotta know what the unwashed masses are talking about on Monday morning.😃

Nah, I read the book, and I’m still trying to get that week of my life back.

I chose “no, other”, I read the book… What trash and an insult to all Christians.

I’ll watch it. I enjoyed the book. I know it’s fiction, but it was still an intriguing story IMO.

No…I refuse to pay $10 for a movie unless I’m sure I will like it. I usually wait for DVD.

The only movies I have paid $10 to see in the past few years are “The Passion of The Christ” and “The Chronicles of Narnia”.

We have the DVD of “The Passion of The Christ” I could not watch it fully. I became too emotional and could not watch anymore, too graphic for me.

I am currently boycotting Sony because of numerous reason. The anti-Christian nature of the Da Vinci Code is one of the reasons.

I don’t want to throw away hard earned and saved money on such trash.

People will vote with their wallets and pocketbooks. I’m not going, I’m not ‘voting’.

I said no, other although I could have said no, it’s anti christian. I said other because I don’t want to watch it because it’s garbage and a colosal waiste of of my energy. and Tom Hanks needs to repent!

I’m not crazy when movies add or substract or even make up off the wall stuff when based on actual living people(s) The entire aspect of Jesus not being crucified and getting married goes beyond the realm of making stuff up…say for instance historical figures in the wrong places in the movie Gladiator…for me it was harmless.

I will watch Da Vinci Code but only when it comes to dvd as a rental.

I’m usually a pretty busy person, so I’m not going to waste our spare time watching such dribble. It’s anti-Catholic and anti-Christian, but it’s aimed mainly at our Church.

Hey folks, it may be fiction, but it’s also blasphemy! I cannot understand how you can dismiss it with a wave of your hand saying, “it’s only fiction.”

If I said a certain arab alleged prophet was a homosexual, even if I said, 'just kidding." Or put it in cartoon form, there would be riots.

But we Catholics allow our Lord to insulted and just say, “it’s just fiction.”

I don’t understand. At least, don’t give the pagans your money!

OK, all you fiction defenders…why would you want your church to be insulted?. Hollywood makes sport of what is important to us day in and day out. They insult us and infect our culture. It is all of us that let them get away with this. If we don’t financially reward them then perhaps we will send them a message.
