Father John Corapi vs. _____ ( any noncatholic apologist )
or even
Dr. Scott Hahn vs. ______( any noncatholic apologist)

Fill in the blank.

Me: John McArthur.

I would say richard dawkins, but that atheist wouldn’t even be able to get a fair chance.

Dr. Scott Hahn vs. Maureen Dowd

Fr. John Corapi vs. Kimbo Slice

Corapi v. Alistair Begg. They have different styles but are about equally talented preachers, and Begg is very anti-Catholic so it should make for an interesting debate. You can check out Mr. Begg at his Truth for Life website here: truthforlife.org/about/about-alistair-begg/

Hahn v. Albert Mohler. Mohler is President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the only person I can think of with the intellectual wherewithall to debate Scott Hahn. He keeps a blog where he posts a lot of his stuff at: albertmohler.com/

Jesus!!

See John 8 and elsewhere:

Maybe you would like to debate Jesus about this, my (if somewhat wayward) brother:

[BIBLEDRB]Matthew 7:21-23[/BIBLEDRB]

@OP: For Fr. Corapi, any atheist or prayer denier.
Scott Hahn, James White.

I see nothing to debate: it make sense to me:

when you meet Jesus on THAT day ; instead of giving Jesus your Church resume and listing ALL of the things that YOU did FOR Jesus: try thanking Him for what He did for you!!! :amen:

Works for your own glory mean nothing:** when the omniscient Christ says he never knew you : he means there was no relationship.** It’s heart issue.

It’s more than a matter of the heart, it is that which you miss entirely the most intamate realtionship with our savior ,Jesus Christ, the blessed sacrement of the Eucharist.
We know works for one’s glory are vainity, it is written is it not.

And you think John McArthur stands a chance the man is capable of contridicting himself in the same sentence.

Fr. Corapi vs. Thomas S. Monson
Scott Hahn vs. Don A. Adams

I would pay, with pleasure, to see these debates.

How about N.T. Wright… or is debating main streamers no fun? 😉
bring it, but such a debate would be very short. There aren’t many differences between most mainstream denoms, and catholics.

N.T. Wright’s on **our **side. The only thing either would have a potential disagreement about is soul sleep, which it seems Wright believes in.

Don’t forget women’s ordination. He has, on multiple occasions, supported the ordination of women.
