Ok Guys,
So I have this Douay-Rheims Bible I’m sure many of y’all have by now. But these footnotes have bugged me ever since I got it. It seems as if the person wrote in old english to make them sound old-tyme, but they’re obviously from modern times, but not too modern. In fact, I really can’t tell where, or when, or who they’re from!
Does anybody have some background information on this precise edition?
Loreta Publications: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, 2004.
Plus the artwork is horrible.
If anyone knows anything about this, please tell me; it’s for my catholic studies class!
