Bishops like those are horrible! We should pray for the victims instead of them. The clerics that did the abuse should have their rights in the church removed (well priestly rights). May God have mercy on them

This should be done all over. Not needed that Bishops resign like this, but a PROPER investigation on all levels in lots of places is required.
It is only a few and I understand that, but it goes further then just actually committing the act. Many more are accessories in some way or another. This is a good day for the Catholic Church as a whole in my opinion in order to regain trust.

At least Francis admitted to bad faith (and information) in accusing the victims of lying, and sent a trusted Vatican investigator to look deeply into it.
At this point, sunlight continues to be needed.

I have a feeling he dealt with the source of the bad information once it became apparent that he was being given bad council.
