You can get anything on eBay! 😃
True, but we are celebrating Christmas with my in-laws this Saturday. I doubt there would be time to order one online at this late date. I guess if this inspiration continues I can always give them our Divine Mercy picture hanging on our wall and buy a new one for us! 👍 Only thing is that our picture came from a convent and is really special to us… I didn’t want it to come to this!

You can’t find one online and have it express mailed?

Hmmm, I didn’t look into that. But my prior experience is that it would probably cost several times more for the postage than the actual gift itself!

I thought I was done…until hubby opened the package from UPS today. One of Lily’s gifts (one of those toy shelves with open colored bins) arrived damaged and missing pieces!!! And here I thought I was so clever by doing the shopping online this year:rolleyes:

Done, wrapped, family gifts not under the tree because we do santa claus for the sake of my 8 year old brother. Friends gifts are in the bag ready for Thursday. Church giving tree present is sent off. I think that’s everyone I bought for.😃

No need to stress over THAT! Lily won’t know the difference.

I would order one, not give them yours if it means a lot to you. Then print a pic of it and put the picture in a card and tell them it will be at their door in a few days. I wouldn’t think they would mind waiting.

Last year I mailed our gifts to my in-laws a little late the choice was $8 something for the 26th or $50 something for the 24th. I went with the $8 something and they got it on the 26th. They actually liked it because it extended Christmas for them.

Come to think of it, there IS no “done”. We can always come up with something more to fuss with.

E.g., I say I’m “done” but I haven’t done any baking. Actually, I MIGHT do some but since everybody just whines about the calories, I am tempted to bypass the baking if it becomes aggravating rather than enjoyable.

So, yeah: I’m done – as done as I need to be.

**That gift was more for me, lol… but you’re right, it’s not worth stressing over. We’ll get it sorted out. Just sucks that they’d send something in that condition:(

Well I just gave up. I am not going to be able to get Planet Earth for my Dad. I will have to pick him up something else this weekend. I really wanted to get him the movies but we just can’t this year. 😦 And I am so tired of eBay.

I am a man.

With that bit of information, I am sure everyone can figure out which one I voted for! 🙂

Hubby asked me last night if I would like to buy my own gifts this year!!! 😃

Here’s the situation: I work full time in a library, teach two classes on-line for a university and work this Christmas season part time in the mall. So I finished my Christmas shopping before December. I had to. Why do I work so hard? Because I just found out that my dental insurance will not cover the crown I had to get for my cracked tooth. I am normally not one to break the second commandment, but I am sorely tempted to rain down anethemas on the heads of the company.

Most company dental plans are terrible. Ours just about covers a new tooth brush and a pack of dental floss.
