Who's everybody's favorite saint?

I consider my Patrons to be St. Gregory the Great and St. Pio of Pietrelcina, because they’re my Baptismal and Confirmation patrons, but also St. John the Beloved Apostle. I like the Carmelite Saints John of the Cross, Theresa of Avila and Therese of Lisieux.
 
St. Philip Neri. I’m not a particularly joyful person—not something I boast in, I realize it as a serious fault, but I hope that to follow this saint’s example changes that.

I also have a certain fondness for St. Stephen. Not quite sure why… 😜

I am drawn to these holy men:

St. Martin de Porres - Peru, born 1579
Blessed Solanus Casey - American, born 1870
Saint John Bosco - Italian, born 1815
 
I’ll go with Francis of Assisi, though if Julian of Norwich were canonized it would be her. Origen ranks up there too, but again…

St. Francis reflects much of my own attitudes toward the smaller forms of life; birds, cats, dogs and such. I can’t stand to see them suffer and want to embrace every one of them.
