Whos peter kreeft? is he Catholic?

Can i trust in this guys state of mind. Is he Catholic, if not, does he have good philosphy. Its very important that i know!

He is Catholic and everything I’ve read of him seems reliable. I’d recommend him:

When I was in college, a pastor at my evangelical church recommended I read a Kreeft book. I loved it. In hindsight, I wonder if the pastor knew Kreeft is catholic.
 
I have some Peter Kreeft books. The ones on prayer are really good.

To freesoulhope - If you don’t know who Peter Kreeft is why do you say “its very important that I know”?
 
:confused: because i dont “know” who he is, im also cuatious and do not like reading stuff that isnt catholic based. I did not know that he was “Catholic” i needed to know

Well I can say his books are very good and you should also check out his website.
Did someone recommend you read his books?

Peter Kreeft is fantastic. People may speak of him in 100 years the same way we speak of Kant, Hume, and so forth today.

(I only mean in terms of importance, not in terms of how good their philosophy is!)
