Well, I think you’d be making a mistake. As Catholics, we know we can call on the help of Saints and Archangels and the Holy Souls.

It is perverse to refuse help freely and unconditionally given by righteous beings.

I’m reminded of a story I read about a pair of early Christian monks in the desert. They lived by accepting whatever God sent them. They would carry no goods or money. They relied absolutely on God’s grace to feed them. And he did.

One day, however, they were pretty far gone; starving unto the point death. They came upon a party of nomads, who were not Christians. One accepted their charity. The other monk refused to, because they were not Christians, and he reasoned God would send Christians to help them.

He died. His companion lived.

I’m getting the impression that the refusal of Protestants to accept the aids God has sent, based upon their interpetation of the ‘Bible alone’, is a mistake like this.

Ruthie, yes there is, you are allowed in that poll to click all the boxes if you desire.

Thanks, Daniel. Done.

Both the Holy Spirit and Jesus would be praying to God the Father — it is their role in the godhead. 😉
