I have many friends from different protestant churches, and a couple are preachers. I’ve also had to do business with a large Baptist college. The reason I bring this up is my total shock when I found out that our order of the 10 Commandents are different from…well…everybody elses!
I was taught the ten commandments when I was 6 and can rattle them off now in less then 15 seconds. I’m sure we all can - here in this room - it’s not a major feat. I think it all started when I mentioned something about the fifth commandment being a fairly important one and someone told me I was wrong. Then I was shown one of those yard signs that people put up of the commandments. My heart sunk and had no method to prove me right.
I read that 75% of Europe, South America, North America and a lot of Africa is Catholic. What happened? Someone help me to defend this. When God carved the tablets with lightning (well - that’s the way they show it in the movie) in what order was it then. Shouldn’t we be going in THAT order?
